What is the guest capacity for the Event Barn?
For seated guests,140 people. For reception style, 175 people.
Is the Bridal Suite included?
Yes, access to the Bridal Suite is included with all wedding packages. Time of access is determined in your event contract. Extra time is available upon request for an additional fee.
Does Cavender Creek provide any decor?
The Venue provides some centerpiece items for tables, a greenery wall, and black or white tabletop lanterns. Ask to see our decor items.
Is the greenery wall backdrop Included?
Yes, it is included in any event booking. You can customize it by adding your own neon or wooden sign. We hang it for you!
Is there Wi-Fi at the Barn?
Yes, a guest Wi-Fi network is available. A password will be provided during your event.
What are the Venue hours?
The timeframe of your event and access to the Venue are communicated in your event contract. The Barn closes at 10pm in observance of the local noise ordinance. No music or event noise is permitted after hours.
Can you play a slideshow during your event?
Yes, the Venue has two existing TVs for playing videos. Load your video onto YouTube and provide us with the public link to that video. Please note: The TVs do not sync together but we can play them at the same time. We will put you in touch with our AV support team if you want to setup a synced presentation.
Is lodging available onsite?
Yes, we have three rentals available on the property. There is a two night minimum for booking. Please inquire about a discounted lodging rate for your event. View our Lodging Options HERE.
Our Log Cabin has two king beds and a pull-out queen sofa sleeper, with two bathrooms. It sleeps four to six people comfortably.
Our Winemaker’s Cottage has two queen beds and one bathroom. It sleeps up to four people.
Our Petit House has two queen beds and one bathroom. it sleep up to four people.
Are the regular Tasting Room operations open during your event?
Yes, the Tasting Room is open seven days a week but closes by 6:30pm Sunday through Thursday, and by 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
Can you leave vehicles on the property overnight?
Yes, but please ask for approval first. All cars need to be picked up the next morning before the Tasting Room opens.
What is the backup plan if rain is predicted?
A predetermined customized rain backup plan will be made for your event. We can host ceremonies inside the Barn if inclement weather should occur. In the event that a ceremony is moved indoors, our staff will move furniture as needed before and after the ceremony according to the predetermined customized plan.
Can we bring in outside alcohol?
No. It is against Georgia Law to bring your own alcohol and/or consume it on the premises. This includes groomsmen flasks and drinks in the bridal suite. We will be happy to provide you with a Mimosa Station in the Bridal Suite. Please ask your event planner for pricing.
When do items need to be removed after an event?
All items belonging to the client need to be removed from the Barn at the end of the event. We are not able to store, secure, or hold items after the conclusion of an event and are not responsible for items left after an event.
